Who is responsible
Silly Goose Tech AB, organisation number 559572-6612, Sjöfartsgatan 11, 120 62 Stockholm, Sweden, is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions go to honk@sillygoose.se.
What we process
An order: your name, delivery address, email address, what you ordered, and the recipient's name if you gave one. It is collected in Shopify's checkout, not on this site.
The map itself: the place you framed and the options you chose. It is part of the order, because it is the thing we make.
Email you send us, and our answers to it.
Why, and on what ground
To make and send what you bought, and to answer you about it — performance of the contract.
To keep accounts — a legal obligation.
To keep the shop working and see which parts of it are used — legitimate interest, served by measurements that identify nobody.
Statistics
Visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow anyone between sites.
The configurator's own parameters — the coordinates and the place name — are removed from the recorded address before it is sent, so what you were looking at does not travel with the count.
Cookies
Two, both functional. sg_lang remembers the language you chose and sg_currency the currency; they last a year, they are set because you asked for that language or currency, and nothing else is stored on your device.
That is why this site has no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to.
Who else is involved
Shopify runs the checkout and holds the order record. Vercel hosts the site.
Drawing the map in your browser fetches tiles and elevation data directly from openfreemap.org, from the Overture Maps archive on Amazon S3 and from mapterhorn.com. Those services see your IP address and which tiles you asked for, and some of them are outside the EU.
Searching for a place goes through our own server to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim, so the search reaches them from us rather than from you.
How long we keep it
Order and accounting records are kept for seven years, as Swedish bookkeeping law requires.
Email is kept while it is useful for the order and the guarantee, and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected or erased, object to a processing, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to honk@sillygoose.se.
If you think we handle it badly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, imy.se).
