The goose promise

Damaged or wrong? We sort it.

What it is

A place you know,
made holdable.

Streets, water, buildings, and terrain become one small physical portrait. It is big enough to find your corner and small enough for a shelf, desk, or wall.

Real places.
Small enough for a shelf.

Stockholm, an airport, a childhood street — these are examples, not the menu. Yours starts wherever you put the map.

Finished-map examples. Every order is prepared from the area you choose.

The name comes with it

Some places
deserve a label.

Every frame gets a small raised sign with its place name and coordinates. It makes the object legible to everyone else, even if the location only means something to you.

Small heart pin placed on a detailed 3D map.

Look! A heart.

We leave one
decision to you.

One small heart comes loose in the box. Push it into the place you love — or wherever the story actually happened. You can move it later. The map will cope.

How it is made

From somewhere
to something.

Map data becomes a physical relief in four very real steps. The machines do the patient part; people do the picky part.

  1. 01

    You choose the place

Move the map until the meaningful bit sits inside the square. A street, a coastline, the corner where it happened — the map does not judge.

  2. 02

    We read the ground

Roads, water, buildings, and elevation become a printable relief. We check the crop and send it through the workshop, not through a mystery warehouse.

  3. 03

    The goose gets practical

The map is printed, hand-finished, set into your black or white frame, and given a small plaque with its place name.

  4. 04

    Boxed, then home

The finished map is packed with care and posted within two working days while workshop capacity allows.

About us

Made in Hammarby.
Not “fulfilled” there.

Silly Goose is a small Stockholm workshop making objects about places and people. We prepare the map, run the print, finish the surface, and fit the frame.

Small-batch production is slower, but it means we can look at every map before it leaves.

FAQ

Reasonable questions.
Mostly.

Can I really choose any place?+

Yes. Search for a street, neighbourhood, town, island, or landmark, then move the map to frame the area. We confirm the final crop before production.

What does €55 include?+

A custom square 20 × 20 cm relief map, a black or white frame, its place-name plaque, one heart pin, and delivery in Sweden.

How quickly does it ship?+

The current promise is dispatch within two working days. Custom places take real preparation, so we will revise that promise honestly if a production queue forms.

What if it arrives damaged or wrong?+

We remake it or refund it. That is the goose promise, and one of the few things the goose is very serious about.

Can I return a custom map?+

Made-to-order products are not normally returnable because you change your mind. Damage, production mistakes, and incorrect orders are always on us.

Do you ship outside Sweden?+

Within Sweden, delivery is included. Anywhere else in the EU the goose still makes the trip — for a little extra postage, added at checkout. Beyond the EU isn't on the map yet.
